These are all the dyed ones . Some are laceweight with over 400 yds , some will be for socks and some for cowls,
My alpaca fleece collection . I have done another two skeins of brown since I took this photo. Most of these were small amounts of fleece which I had collected for some time and hadn't spun but seeing as I now have quite a lot of alpaca fleece to spin up I thought these would be ideal for small knits for Christmas.
My project spinning
The brown is Corriedale fleece which I bought at Wonderwool Wales this year and the white is tops of silk/merino which I bought last year at Woolfest !! They are really big 200gm hanks. Another plus on this wheel as the bobbins hold 100gms
Chunky spun Shetland shearling destined for a manly cowl and the lush, lush kiddie mohair from Cecillia's Katia. Looking forward to going back to this fleece again at some point. That's another reason I love fleece; get a really good one and its like visiting an old friend when you go back to do some more.
Did I tell you I love this fleece ? see the shine ? Go on,have a closer look...
Of course I have been spinning more this week. I did that yummy batt which was fun to spin and it will make gorgeous scarf, perhaps one of Anne Hansons's little beauties. That means I will have to get my needles out !! But I want to spin, I must spin , I can't cope a day without spinning !! ? My goal is one full bobbin which I can do most evenings.
I need more hours in the day; how can this be done ? Well the essentials of life are warmth and food so if I cut out the cleaning and the ironing mmmmmmm Also here I am again at 3 am wide awake perhaps I can go for a little spin ? Who knows I might fall asleep on the wheel !!
Bye for now and Nos Da or is it Bore Da ?

A bounty, indeed! Oooh, to get back to my spinning! :0)
Your yarns look lovely, such nice colours. The Alpacas are nice.
Such lovely Yarns and so many skeins of it!! By the way...yes you can spin at 3 am in the morning. There is no Law against it :)
Oh you are putting me to shame...I really need to get a lot more spinning done.
What a prolific spinner you are and it all looks like gorgeous yarn. Good luck on finding thos extra hours :o)
Wow!! Your urge to spin has produced such wonderful results. The sheen on the kiddie mohair is really lovely. I am sure that its beauty will only grow when it is knit up. Thank you for sharing some of your bounty with us thru your photos we can live vicariously.
Such a lovely collection of yarns but...... you must make more. I understand that fully. I have found the best time to spin is whenever you feel like it!
What have you done with my goat???!!! That is truly amazing! I'm thoroughly inspired :)))
The best (& most energy-efficient) way to do ironing is not to! :)
Wow... and I'm proud of my 8 mini-skeins! I am taking one of them with me to my SnB tonight to show off (your Lafant Glas Falkland) as I'm so pleased with it.
Wonderful bounty there Anne:) You have spun some wonderful yarns well done:)
As for the ironing, I only ever iron fabric I've dyed if it needs it never anything else
You really have been busy! I love the natural shades of fleece. looking forward to seeing what they become although I also think a skein can be a finished item in it's own right!
You really have been a busy bee with the spinning Anne, such variety too, can't wait to see what you do with it all!
Wow, gorgeous hand spun yarns. I'm so impressed. I think I've done one bobbin since August. Must get back into spinning. Too much deadline knitting lately.
With all the yarn you've been spinning it is time to pick up needles, or warp a loom
All since August, it boggles the mind.
iron? What is ironing? Hang things up really straight and tight on the line and you can forget 99% of it. So forget it and spin instead as your yarns are fabulous. I have been dyeing silk merino recently it is a quite yummy fibre although I have been using it for felted stoles and mittens
I know how you feel with the lack of sleep, my insomnia is terrible at the moment and despite feeling totally drained, I still can't sleep.
Wonderful yarns there as always Anne and thanks for sending mine, they have arrived and are beautiful xx thank you.
Just one question, what is the green/yellow fibre you sent? It's so soft and pretty.
With two young children who seem to be as busy as me, spinning seems to be an imposible dream right now. so lovely to see your work so inspiring.....keep spinning for me!!! Becky (gonga
